If you choose this trailhead to start your walk, you must pay $2 for parking (or risk a $30 fine). But there is a nicely maintained restroom here along with ice water and benches which somewhat makes up for that.
The advantage of starting your hike at the Wilsky Blvd trailhead is that you can choose either of two scenic routes. At the fork in the trail, take the left and continue to the Channel Park trailhead (2.3 miles) or take the right fork which leads to the Citrus Park trailhead (2.5 miles).
